Friendly staff, anf great value for the money!
Good position, very helpful receiption staff, excellent happy hour and friendly bar staff. perfect bar to meet friends. would recommend this hotel.
parking could be difficult quite busy streets, but we usually found a space.Would like a hair dryer to save on luggage space. Also would like Spain in general to have tea and coffee making facilities in rooms.
The location was good, close to everything but out of the noise.
The matress, and the rotting bathroom window.
Very nice hotel, close to beach and city center approx 10 min. Very tasty breakfasts and dinner. In front of the hotel is small shop. Value for money. I suggest to chose this hotel for beach holidays.
Helpful and friendly staff, value for money and location
attentive service, atmosphere, friendly, evening entertainment
Relaxed atmoshere of the hotel and the attention provided by the staff who were very understanding and accomodating
Coul do with a re fresh in some places
I did like the fact that the hotel was located very close to the beach, 5 minutes of walk. sometimes during the day I had to climb several times up and down the hill which was very good excercise. The next thing was that I was really surprised by the way the restaurant had offered dinner. There was a variety of food available every day, and on Thursday they had offered special dinner which had really high class food served. Each women had been welcomed with the flower and a wine. very touching. there was a little shop in front of the hotel, very helpful if wanted get something to drink. pool was very clean, there was also ping-pong table to play. I liked happy hour between 4:30-5:30 pm every day, buy 1 get 1 free.
Most of the stuff did not speak in English even though the most of the customers were English. There were entertaining side fo stay each night, which could be very annoying. it is very loud each night between 8 and 11pm. some stuff was nice to listen, but most musicians were just terrible. if you wanted get some sleep you had to listen this music each night no matter what. advice: take the room with the street view, not the pool. Internet price is very expensive 3 Euros for 30 minutes. it is a robbery, no wi-fi available. it is 21 century for god sake. internet access is like a food these days.
this was our third visit to villa flamenca, we love the ambiance, pool area at night, also the entertainment and the food.
We stayed in the Villa Flamenca hotel for a week in the beginning of September. At first we were assigned a room on the 1st floor which overlooked the pool and had little or no privacy and would be very noisy, so were able to change to the 4th floor with no fuss or hassle. Front rooms are quite quiet, as this is a residential street. Nice deep pool and happy hour in the bar between 4.30 and 5.30. Really good value for money, as the food was really nice with buffet to suit every taste. Flamenca night on thurs really good.Hotel is near the bus station and 15 mins from the centre of Nerja. Wear thick soled shoes as the cobbles and cut granite slabs agony on skinny soles!
No fridge in the rooms, which makes making a cup of tea with the travel kettle a problem, until we discovered little portions of evaporated milk across the road. Rooms are very small, but not a problem when there are only two staying. No hairdryer, so bring a travel one. Extremely steep hill down to Burriana beach. Much better idea to go to the top of the road and walk the 15mins down to the Balcon de Europa. Lovely little beach there, with lifeguard in attendance.
The hotel had a nice spanish feel to it and the food was good for a buffet in this price range.
The first room we were given was on the first floor and had tables and chairs and a tree directly outside the balcony - this meant there was no privacy and was very dark. However, we asked to be moved which happened 2 days later and were given a 3rd floor room which was much better. The rooms are fairly small but then we weren't in it much.
Prosimity to the beach and Balcon de Europa.
Not ideal for young couples. The hotel is very family oriented and packed with young children and elderly.
I really enjoyed the large clean hotel pool, and bar. Fantastic food, staff and facilitys. I will definatly return.
Food excellent, 10 mts walk down fairly steep hill to Burriana beach.Entertainment provided, close to shops and restaurants. Booked.net for bargain prices.
Road currently being re-constructed and no immediate access other than a short walk.
This a three star hotel which does all that you would expect. The buffet breakfast in the morning left nothing to be desired. The range on offer would have been exceptional in a five star establishment. We had requested a room with a balcony with which we were supplied and the staff seemed to do everything that they could to supply a good holiday.
The only comment I can make in this section is that we could have had more storage room in our bedroom for clothes etc.
